Although everyone meets their own membership and travel/accommodation costs despite hardship because of a love of the sport and the friendship and support from being part of the Saracens WCR, it is not surprising given the nature of the sport that we have a need for both capital items, but also on-going costs of maintenance and repairs as well as costs of entering tournaments for players.

"There has been such a great improvement in Anthonys' confidence since he has become part of the Saracens team. He loves playing rugby and feels that he has a great circle of friends. He is listened to and his opinions matter just as much as everyone else in the team. When he struggles to find the words they do not rush him but give him time. He feels valued and it is a joy to see how much he admires his team and gets just as much joy cheering them on as he does playing. It would be a step back for Anthony if the Saracens Wheelchair Rugby team ceased to exist."
